Description
A refreshing homemade blackberry sage lemonade refresher made with fresh fruit, citrus, and herbs. Better than Starbucks, and perfect for summer days.
Ingredients
Scale
- ¾ cup fresh or frozen blackberries
- 2–3 fresh sage leaves
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice
- 2–3 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ½ cup brewed green tea (optional)
- 1 cup ice cubes
- Lemon slices or blackberries for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, muddle blackberries and sage with a splash of water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, pressing out juice. Discard solids.

In a shaker or jar, combine blackberry-sage juice, lemon juice, water or tea, and honey. Shake with ice.
- Pour into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with lemon, sage, and berries. Enjoy!
Notes
- You can store the base (without ice) in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Add sparkling water for a fizzy version.
- Use decaf tea or plain water for a caffeine-free option.
